               As a part of CDRIC activity, students of computer department & CDRIC club members with the help of Mr. Nishant M Gandhi (Lecturer , Computer Department) organized an seminar on Microsoft Student Partner. Students have invited Mr. Samarth Zankhariya, an Ex-MSP and Ex-Employee:Microsoft Imagine Cup Media Team. Seminar started at around 5:15 PM. More than 30 students including 1^st year, 2^nd year and 3^rd year were present at the venue. Seminar got over successfully at around 6:00 PM with excellent seminar delivery by Mr. Samarth.

            The Seminar began with welcome speech by Parinaz(3^rd year Student & Member CDRIC). After that Badal Naik(3^rd year Student & President CDRIC) took over the seminar to introduce Computer Department Research & Innovation Club , goal of this club and activity of this club. By completing his part ,he welcomed Mr. Samarth Zankhariya to come on stage & asked to share  his knowledge & experience of MSP program.

             Mr. Samarth Zankhariya introduced him self again by adding that he is not more than just a normal student like others and even from the college & university,which has not more reputation than CKPCET. He explained the roll of Academics & CGPA/Percentage in industry as well as MSP program. He recalled his memory and share his whole experience of recruitment process of MSP program. As being 3 times MSP from Surat , he also shared all the pros & cons he had as being an MSP. He told it is not very easy be selected as MSP because of high competition and tough recruitment process. Applicant must have academic excellence as well as good communication skill and programing skills. He mentioned the internship opportunity in 1^st year, 2^nd year & 3^rd year and placement opportunity that MSPs have at Microsoft Corporation. With that he also talk about Microsoft Imagine Cup , Microsoft Corporation's international technical event for students. As being part of Microsoft Imagine Cup media team ,he shared how he got this position after being an MSP. He also explained the roll of Microsoft Corporation Media Team in Imagine Cup and his roll in Microsoft Corporation Media Team. He shared his experience of working with Microsoft Corporation Media Team as he had opportunity to work with Microsoft Corporation's permanent employees and students from more than 90 countries. He told that he has attained and worked for Imagine Cup Media Team for two years and attained Imagine Cup 2011 finals at USA and Imagine Cup 2012 finals at Australia. All of his expenditure(including Business class Air Tickets, Food, Accommodation in 7* Hotels, Visit of tourism places in Host country and some money for personal use) was taken care by Microsoft Corporation. He explained the whole MSP recruitment process & it's different phases. After that he shared his experience as being recruiting member of MSP program. He also told some of the tips for successfully pass the selection process.

                  At the end he praised the students of CKPCET for being present in good numbers specially after academic time and without force of any faculty but by own interest. He wished best luck to all the students and advice to apply for this program in each year. Students were very attentive and so excited through out the workshop. Mr. Samarth Zakhariya were so good during his seminar as no one student lost their interest during the seminar. After the speech of Mr. Samarth Zankhariya , Mr. Nishant M Gandhi ended the session by some words to inspire students to take part in MSP program and other activities in order to improve their skills & career direction.
